After our stay in Santa Fe, where we visited a lot of museums and galleries we hit up a little nature in the form of Bandelier National Monument, on our way up to Taos... This area was an ancestoral home of the early Pueblo people. They had carved out homes into the cliff walls, and you can climb into some of them and check it out...
A random find on Craig's List, lead us to Casa Del Toro Bed and Breakfast; which, to our great surprise, had vegetarian breakfast!! It was our own little house, as if we were house sitting for friends. It was right around the corner from the Georgia O'Keefe Museum - and 100 galleries!
The Red Desert Near Blue Mesa Petrified trees, YEAH! Wendi strolling through the Crystal Forest in the Painted Desert It's a tree-rock! Historic Route 66.
Stopping off for lunch in the Granite Mountains of the Mojave Desert.
"Stop taking my picture!!" The Wigwam Hotel, along Route 66 in Holbrook, Arizona. This looks like the "Wrecker" from the old Shafer Sohio station. Who knew it would be freezing cold in Arizona?
We went down to Monterey to visit our friends Erin and Elliot. They took us on a little hike around Point Lobos. This is where Robert Louis Stevenson wrote "Treasure Island". March 1st, 2009.
